5PRITE

Ivan Nikolov, also known as 5prite is a Bulgarian artist, which became known to the house scene as resident of the Fly Parties held in the legendary top 100 Dj Mag Club Yalta, Sofia.
In 2008, he started producing and in the years since, he has reach Beatport’s Top 100 multiple times. 5prite loves to experiment and often uses different elements in his work, writing his own patterns to colourful and dynamic style.
He has seen his tracks released by labels such as Milk & Sugar, Street King, Tiger Records, Go Deeva and Heavenly Bodies among others and has received support of the likes of Steve Lawler, Danny Tegnalia, Umek, Dj Sneak, Franky Rizardo, Supernova, Kolombo …& many more. His most populiar work to this moment is a remix of the cover of Daft Punk’s „Get Lucky“, which was released in the early 2014 for Heavenly Bodies Records and managed to hold it’s top 20 position for over 3 months climbing up at #16 on Beatport !!!
He has been heavily influenced by Funk and the New Jack Swing sound of the 80’s, which wouldn’t surprise despite the fact that he was a huge fan of the famous at their time Guy, Shalamar, The Gap Band, The Sos band, Jodeci!
In 2014: – Reached position 88 Best-selling Nu-Disco artist on Beatport of the year – Karen Souza – Get Lucky (5prite Remix) reached position 55 Best-selling NuDisco track on Beatport of the year.
